I come from a long line of green thumbs – both of my grandmothers and my mom filled their lives with gardens and flowers. Growing up, the garden was my sanctuary, the place I felt most at peace.
I even started college as a Botany major – until I realized I didn’t want plants to be my job… I wanted them to stay my joy. So I switched to fine art, thinking that was the path. Turns out, floral design lets me have both: a life rooted in color, creativity, and the natural world. And the fact that I get to make a living doing something that ties it all together? That still blows me away.
Wanderie isn’t technically a real word. It’s more of a feeling. Like exploring an old English garden with someone who’s fascinating, funny, and probably has great shoes.
I liked that it didn’t come with a definition. It meant I got to make it my own.
I take my work seriously, but I don’t think the process has to feel serious. Planning your wedding flowers should be fun, collaborative, and something you actually look forward to.

One of the questions I hear most often is, “Is that what other people are doing?” My answer? Who cares? If you love it, that’s reason enough.
I like getting to know the people I’m designing for, and I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, changing your mind, and telling me what you really think. And if you want to spend an afternoon wandering the flower market together, I’m always up for that.
I’m an Enneagram 4, an animal lover (particularly my rescue dogs Daisy and Phoebe), and a fan of trivia, a day on the lake, and a good hazy IPA.
In a past life, I was a high school art teacher and then a 911 dispatcher, which I think explains why I’m so calm under pressure and pretty damn good at multitasking.
I believe love is love, and every couple deserves to feel celebrated exactly as they are. So whoever you are, whoever you love, and whatever you’ve got planned, I can’t wait to hear all about it. And whether you have any pets I should know about.
